Beter & Leuk is a good food café in Amsterdam East. It is a cozy and inspiring place with a homely atmosphere. You can enjoy delicious healthy and vegan food. All dishes are prepared in their own kitchen, using organic, seasonal and local products as much as possible. Sounds good right? Wait, there’s more…

Vegan High Tea, anyone? My favorite on the menu! I think Beter & Leuk was even one of the first restaurants in Amsterdam where you could order a healthy and vegan High Tea.

When the tray with the High Tea dishes is brought to your table, you will be amazed: salad, soup, healthy homemade sweets without refined sugars, freshly squeezed juice and unlimited tea. Wonderful to enjoy with a friend, and also a perfect gift.

When the weather is nice, you can sit on the bench in front of the door. I recently sat there enjoying my Bibimbap Bowl. A vegen bowl, with lots of vegetables, rice, tempeh and sesame dressing. Highly recommended!

But Beter & Leuk is that it is more than a good food café. They also have a small concept store, where you can buy clothes, books, and accessories. In the evening, the restaurant is closed but the take-away shop opens, where you can pick up delicious meals or have them delivered to your home.
